I'm so excited to finally announce our brand new Design Team! So many people applied and each and every one of you have phenominal talent! I had originally planned on having only two designers and they would alternate each month. But, with all of the applicants I couldn't narrow it down to only two, so I decided to bring in THREE new designers! Please welcome Juliann Marchant, Irene Tan, and Jennifer McWhirt to the Queen Scraps team! Please check out each of their blogs and galleries to get a glimpse of things to come!
First, welcome Irene Tan!
Here is a little bit about Irene:
"I've been scrapbooking since 2005. But, I've stopped from early 2006 for more than a year and only started to scrap again in March 2007."
"I'm a mother to two of my most loved ones and I have a most wonderful family that had always support me to pursue my passion. Scrapbooking to me is really about family and my life. There's nothing more fun and inspiring than to scrap about photographs captured during everyday life with our loved ones. My motto towards scrapping has always been "Scrap with your heart and remember to have fun too!"
"I'm kind of the 'Ephemera' style but then again, I would love to workwith some fun colours at times. But there's one thing I can be sure of, I'm all about distressing! Lastly, I'm really honored and excited to be part of the the designing team of QueenScraps. Refer the link below to get to know me more."
Next, welcome Juliann Marchant! Juliann has been a frequent Guest Design for Queen Scraps and I had no doubts about asking her to join us full time. Please scroll down to see her fabulous work with August's special project kit!
Here is a little more about Juliann:
"Hi I'm Julie SAHM of Alexa and Wil, and Wife to Bill for almost 12 years now. I have always been a crafty artsy person, from Interior Design school, to working with water colors, pastels, dried floral arrangements, and clay. I have been scrapping for a little over 5 years now, and there is no turning back!! I not only LOVE scrapping my 2 kiddos, my family, and our excursions, but love to alter and create fun projects using all my scrappy supplies."
You can also check out Juliann's work on her blog at http://scrappylife.blogspot.com/
And last but certainly not least, Jen McWhirt! I do not have a photo of Jen yet, but I will post one as soon as I can!
Here is a little about Jen:
"I think I have a pretty simple style and while I enjoy doing layouts with just one photo on them I love doing layout with lots of pictures on them."
"My favorite things to scrap are my two boys and our family adventures with a mix of funny layouts about my dog too. I have been married to my husband who is active duty army for just over 13 years. I started scrapbooking just shortly after getting married basically to meet some other wives but I was hooked once I started making pages and haven’t stopped since."
Welcome aboard everyone!
